your silhouette is caste on every wall

i turn to touch what was never there at all

a sadness lurks with the birds on leaveless trees

i know im sinking in your shallow eyes like seas

when i recall the times i dreamed upon your face

the burning etches stone and that i cant erase

a blooming onion is falling from the sky

i gaze upon this fruit and then i start to cry

what happens when your life has turned another page

your secure fence is down the key unlocked the cage

a limit on wonder is i how keep from thought

can we hold memories in ceramic pot
